Work completed was excellent. Communication in scheduling was very good
December 9, 2017
We had a fantastic experience with a craftsman, Tom Simonson, this week, and I had to right a review to encourage other neighbors to hire him as well! I needed help around the house with a few projects (babyproofing installations, damaged closet doors, exterior door lock issues, door jam replacements, etc...), so I decided to hire a handyperson, thinking it would simplify my life. Wrong! After making multiple unreturned calls to suggested handymen, I realized how difficult it is to find a reliable and trustworthy contractor to work in your home. Luckily, we came across Handyman Connection, and I was immediately impressed by the fact that someone cheerily picked up the phone on the second ring, scheduled a free estimate for a convenient time, and followed up by sending me a photo of our handyman as he was headed over. Tom was such a joy to have in our house. We have a lot going with an in-home nanny for infant twins, a giant 120 lb puppy (that messed with his projects and even plowed him over a couple of times!), an escape-artist cat, and me working in a home office. We were so happy that we found someone that provided an honest quote, managed our difficult pets, cleanly and quietly worked on tasks while the babies were napping, and made us feel comfortable with him in our crowded space. We will definitely be going through Handyman Connection again in the future!
